The Society has set a goal of collecting 100 Bibles, Prayer Books, and Hymnals for distribution to missions and parishes at the UEC General Convention in October 2008.

Individual contributions of goods or financial support are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Please view the polls listed on the Society website, and cast your vote. Your participation in this forum will allow the Publications Committee to gauge public interest in the titles.

Additionally, the Publications Committee accepts recommendations for reprint publications from any traditional Anglican group or individual. To submit your recommendation, email the Society with the author’s name and title of the work. If possible, also include information on obtaining a suitable copy of the text.

Anglican Parishes Association (APA) has available a booklet entitled Some Notes on the Conduct of Public Worship, first published in 1988. The instructional guide was written by the late Bishop William Lewis of the Anglican Catholic Church. Included in the book are sections on the public recitation of the Daily Office and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist–with illustrations and instructional notes parallel with the Holy Communion service from the Book of Common Prayer.

This is an excellent resource for candidates for ordination, for the priest who needs to refresh, or for the individual who wishes to learn more about the form of the traditional Anglican services. It is available at a very economical price of $7.50 from APA.

The two books are described in Article XXXV of The Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion and they may be described as instruction from the English Church on basic Christianity, in faith, morals and worship. This volume has been edited to a very high standard by Ian Robinson, an accomplished Cambridge University scholar and the author of multiple books on English literature and criticism.

To work towards the situation where there is One Rite in use in the North American Anglican Scene and that this One Rite is available in traditional English and contemporary English, as well as in French and Spanish.

Fr. Toon believes that a common liturgy will bring together the various orthodox Anglican jurisdictions, both without and within the Anglican Communion. He recommends that a single Eucharistic rite, available in both traditional and contemporary language, be produced and available by June 2006.
