About
About the Society
The Anglican Bible and Book Society supports traditional Anglican worship, the distribution of the Holy Bible and the Book of Common Prayer, and the training of Anglican clergy.
We fulfill this mission by collecting and distributing the Bible, Prayer Book, and other
resources; maintaining collections of educational materials; hosting and assisting in educational presentations on the Holy Scriptures and traditional Anglican worship; and engaging in other efforts to increase the spread of the Christian faith and strengthen the orthodox foundations of traditional Anglicanism.
Beliefs
The Society affirms the Christian faith as expressed in the three great creeds (Apostles’, Nicene, Athanasian) of the Church and in the classical Anglican formularies of the Book of Common Prayer, the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion, and the Ordinal. We are “persuaded that the Holy Scriptures contain all Doctrine required as necessary for eternal salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.”
Governance
The Society is governed by a Board of Directors, composed of traditional Anglican members.
